Yes, our patio is always dog friendly. Please order from a server outside. No dogs allowed inside. Dogs must be well-behaved and remain on a leash.
Yes, children are allowed with well-behaved parents.
We have cornhole boards on the patio. Inside we have board games: apples to apples, sorry, battleship, uno, bananagrams, yahtzee, and more! These are all available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Yes, we have 36 beers on tap, wine, spirits, cocktails, hard cider, slushys in the can bar (Thursday-Saturday and holidays), along with n/a options including kombucha, coffee, tea, soda, juice, etc.
Just ask your bartender to flip the channel so you can cheer on your favorite team.
No smoking of any substance on the patio.

Other than the heated outdoor tent that is available seasonally for private parties, our outdoor patio and lawn area always remains upen to the public and is not available for reservations; however both of our indoor private event spaces serve as excellet home bases for groups to spread out beyond.
We offer the Mezzanine, Rino Room, Tent (seasonally), and Full-Venue Buyouts.
We can accomodate groups from 5-200 people in the private event spaces, and up to 900 guests for a full buyout.
All private events include:
• Designated Server
• One Hour of Setup Time
• Full Bar
• Full Coffee Bar (subject to hours of operation)
• AV Needs (options vary)
• Full access to the patio & outdoor lawn
• Water station(s)
• At least one food truck on the property
Events at Improper City can always be customized to fit your needs. We can create a custom bar menu, start the night with a champagne or sparkling rose toast, add on a whiskey or beer tasting, and more!
Included with events, parties can give guests the gift of variety with the food truck park or use our preferred catering pertners. We also allow outside catering for a small fee if you'd prefer a more formal food setup.
All our indoor and outdoor space is open seating on a first-come first-serve basis. Our full facility covers half a city block, so if your group is under 20 people, we recommend just coming on in and grabbing space!
We offer several rental options for private space, including flat rates, beverage minimums, or all-you-can-drink packages.
Our surrounding parking is all free street parking. We are not affiliated with any specific parking lot. If you'd like to avoid parking, the light rail picks up six blocks away, and guests are always welcome to use lyft or uber.
We work with several nonprofits throughout the year to host fundraising and charity events. Please find our Nonprofit Request Form found on the home page.
